We are committed to actively and persistently challenging racism through public awareness, education, and dialogue. The fight against racism requires pro-active work
We commit to building inclusive and diverse communities grounded in solidarity and vulnerability.
We define leadership not based on performance but demonstrated capability, positive or negative.
Our goal is to encourage and demonstrate compassion in all our actions, inspiring young people to understand and empathize with others in our diverse world.
Camp Anytown intentionally brings together high school students from different races, ethnicities, religions, genders, orientations, socioeconomic statuses, and other social groups. At Camp Anytown, delegates engage in interactive workshops and group discussions to better understand themselves and learn effective methods of discussing complex topics such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and other aspects of personal identity.
We believe that investing in youth leaders today lays the groundwork for building communities rooted in solidarity while recognizing and dismantling white supremacy.
Camp Anytown is the longest-running anti-bias youth program in Nevada and has served over 4,000 high school students since 1983. We intentionally bring together high school students from different races, ethnicities, religions, genders, orientations, socioeconomic statuses, and other social groups for a four-day overnight camp.
Our mission is to establish, empower, and prepare the next generation of youth leaders through social justice
advocacy, civic engagement, and leadership development.
Using pre and post-assessment surveys, our curriculum provides delegates with a deeper understanding of social issues, which prepares them to become compassionate and active citizens worldwide.
